Transition Thursday, Week 3

I lost my camera for a week, and missed last Thursday’s update.  And then I forgot to take a picture of one of the trees.  So we’re off to a rocky, forgetful start, but that’s okay.

Here goes, week 3 after the jump.

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Fraxinus americana

White Ash – Absolutely stunning.

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Ginkgo biloba

Ginkgo, with more orange leaves from the white ash in the background.

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Fraxinus americana

White ash, again.

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Quercus alba

White oak.  So pretty.

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Magnolia x soulangiana

Saucer Magnolia.  Pretty boring in fall. Wait ’til Spring. ; )

Transition Thursday - Week 3 - Malus x 'Prairifire'

Prairifire crabapple hangin’ in there.

  1. Maybe it’s because I’m from Los Angeles, but I find trees to be crazy and amazing and somewhat of a rarity to be appreciated.

And on the first White Ash picture: Helloooo new desktop background. 🙂

  2. I can’t wait to see Saucer Magnolia in the Spring because I already love it. Btw – I tend to love trees due to their shape 🙂
